The Lacamas Shores Homeowners' Association
A Homeowner Association ("HOA") is a non-profit corporation managed by a duly elected Board of Directors. Its purpose is:
Membership in the HOA is both automatic and mandatory upon the purchase of your lot. There are 254 lots in Lacamas Shores and all lot owners/homeowners pay an annual fee as part of their membership in the HOA. The board allocates the funds to an operating account for maintenance, upkeep, repairs, renovations and improvements to common property as well as a reserve fund account as mandated by Washington State.
The HOA is governed by the Board of Directors, with the help of various committees, both standing and ad hoc (temporary).
- " . . . to provide for the maintenance, preservation, and architectural control of the residence lots and common areas . . ."
- " . . . to promote the health, safety, protection and welfare of the residents . . . "
- " . . . to preserve, protect, and improve the quality and character of the Lacamas Shores Development, and to do everything necessary, proper, advisable and/or convenient for the accomplishment of this purpose.
